Mizan Ayers

President & Founding Partner

Mizan Ayers is the President of Bond Private Club and a seasoned leader in the financial services and alternative investment sectors since 2002. He launched his career as a Financial Analyst at GE Asset Management, later gaining institutional experience at Quantitative Financial Strategies, a hedge fund in Greenwich, CT. An active real estate investor, Mr. Ayers is deeply committed to empowering others through financial literacy. He holds a B.A. in Economics from Connecticut College.

Daniel Portnoy

Chief Operating Officer & Founding Partner

Mr. Portnoy most recently served as a consulting COO to investment banks and energy companies, through his own firm. Prior to that, he was the COO and partner in a combined hedge fund and asset management firm, where he still maintains a consulting role, and before that he served as COO of a private High Speed Futures Arbitrage trading firm. He concurrently served as the COO of its trading technology arm which he later purchased from the firm’s owners. His responsibilities covered all aspects of managing the businesses, including financial projections, negotiating contracts, hiring, and coordinating both short and long term strategies. Mr. Portnoy began his career in the capital markets at Morgan Stanley and then headed up technology for Credit Suisse/First Boston. He has started up various businesses, including as a trader of stock index futures for his own account. He also headed the US Equities Technology group at a London-based investment bank and served on the Equities Operation Committee. Mr. Portnoy received his B.A. from Clark University in Worcester, MA, where he designed his own major around Energy Technology and Policy.
